!±8± (1960's) Vintage Prescolite Exit Sign

I don't know the model or MFG date on this old preheater. Most of the stamped writing on the inside is wearing off. It says "UL: Prescolite E Listed 792T Exit Fixture". Perhaps that is the model number? The spring-hinge door feature on this sign is an interesting detail! It gets annoying though when it keeps shutting on your hands. It has the doorway-illuminating light too. I have no idea what the deal is with the diamonds. They are removeable, so they must have some sort of function. Maybe arrows? Vintage 1950s/60s Prescolite Exit Sign

Just made a video of my recently-acquired exit sign made by Prescolite (same brand as my other exit sign I already have). It needed some new bulbs (F6T5 fluorescent tubes) which just arrived today. The lights inside are preheat fluorescent, which are cool to watch start up. Enjoy!
